US-based company provides solutions that help consumers and healthcare professionals make more informed health decisions by providing trusted, relevant and straight-forward health information when and where they need it.

Challenge
The customer commissioned OnCleverSoft to develop a web portal that would provide easy-to-understand and relevant health information and offer credible and quality advice. Furthermore the solution would help the patients look after themselves and their families better, and help physicians and office staff providing better care for their patients. The web portal intended to be the initial point of health advice for a large fraction of web audience.

Development
OnCleverSoft team developed a system that was based on CMS Ektron and stored information about medical articles, information about drugs and symptoms, news, illustrations and videos, tips, etc. The portal allowed users finding drugs by a symptom, pills by shape/color/imprint and information about particular physician.

The application was able to display advertisement and enable gathering analytical information. The architecture had to edit content in CMS directly, upload and modify pictures on the website, update static content (text/graphical blocks on any page) without recompiling.

Results
OnCleverSoft has successfully completed the project (9000 man/hours) and deployed to the customer’s server. The efforts include creating of functional specification, documentation reviewing, development, bugs-fixing and QA.
